Waiting by the phone . . .

Dad left for a business trip today. We don't like it when he goes away. I don't think Mom likes it either. She says he'll be back in a few days.

When Dad left today, I heard him tell Mom he would call tonight. So, I decided to wait by the phone.

Dad, where are you?

Memorial Day

Mom told us about Memorial Day and what it means to all of us. She told us that we should spend some time this weekend thinking about all the men and women who have served and are still serving our country. She talked about how important it is to take a few moments to reflect on it and say our thanks.

Here's Remy being thoughtful and saying his thanks.

Here's Ippuni--he was thinking hard. I think he was wishing Remy and I would go serve our country . . . in some other country.

Here I am doing my thinking and saying my thanks.

Okay, okay, so I got sleepy doing all that thinking.

We hope all of you have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend and get some time to reflect . . . and nap!

Big Bank Treats!

Hi friends! Today Mom took us with her to the bank. We love going to the bank even more than going to Starbucks because the bank gives HUGE milk bones!!

Here I am--looking forward to my big treat!

Here's Luc--he's probably thinking he's going to try to steal my treat.

Here it is!!! I told you it was big!

"Hey Luc, move your big butt! You're taking up the whole seat!"

Mom made Luc move. Here we are not speaking. He didn't get my treat either. So there.

Gecko Hunting

Hey! It's me, Luc! Yesterday Remy told you what his favorite pastime is so I wanted to tell you mine today. It's . . . gecko hunting!!!

Can you see me? I can hide as good as Girl Girl hammie, huh?

Oh, I've almost got him!!! See my head buried right in the middle of that bush??

Uh oh! Mom's calling me . . . darn! That tail of mine always gives me away.

Doesn't gecko hunting look fun? Mom doesn't like it much because sometimes I get too excited playing with the geckos and I hurt them. She says they keep the bugs away and they're cute. Huh? I didn't know that. I thought they were looking for a better price on car insurance.

Watching life go by . . .

It's another pretty day in Georgia! Mom caught me doing one of my favorite things--watching life go by from our front door.

Ahhh, this is the life . . .

Luc, are you trying to sneak up on me?

Nice try!

We're back to doodling!

Hello blog dog, cat and hammie friends!! We missed all of you! Mom promises to let us get back to blogging.

A lot has happened since you've heard from us. Let's see . . . Luc and I got in trouble a couple of weeks ago. Our family went out one night and Luc convinced me to get high on Tyler's albuterol inhaler. I know, it wasn't smart. But man, Luc looked like he was having so much fun that I took a few bites of the inhaler bottle, too. We had to go to the emergency vet and spend the night. Fortunately, everything turned out fine. Mom still can't figure out how we got the inhaler out of Tyler's bathroom, and we're not telling. We are saying this though--Don't Do Drugs.

Our biggest news is what Ippuni told you yesterday--our grandparents moved close to us!! We're so excited. Meemaw is really sweet and Grandaddy is really silly. Here's a picture of Grandaddy telling us a good dog story.

Luc was listening very closely.

So was I.

Ippuni was falling asleep . . . I think he'd heard the story before.

Maybe we'll tell you the story one day!

They're coming back . . .

Hey, it's Ippuni. I know, you sure didn't expect to hear from me--the old man as the poodles call me. They may talk big but they know I could whip their big poodle butts anytime I want. I'm THE MAN around here.

Anyway, Mom has been really busy since her parents (my beloved Meemaw and Grandaddy) moved here last month. She's been helping them settle in. We are all so happy because we love seeing them all the time. But, she's going to start helping Luc & Remy do their blog again. Just wait until you hear what those big curly-haired goof balls have done since you've last heard from them.

Until then, take a look at how cute I am--I've still got it. From, Ippuni
